Step 1 - Select ‘Add your business to Google’

Step 2 - From here on simply follow the on-screen questions and instructions asked by Google.

The process is self explanatory and takes about 5 minutes to complete!

Important Note - If your business does not have a physical location, then you will be asked where you serve your customers.

Be sure to add in all the areas you serve as this is how Google processes search results so local customers can find your business!

On Completion - Once you’ve completed each step and your business has been verified you’ll be shown your new Google business search result.

As you can see from the image below you are provided with tools to configure and add details to complete your profile.

That’s it, your business is now all setup on Google.

As soon as your business profile has been approved by Google (This can be instantly or a few days) your business will be easier to find online. However, google’s algorithm works by how active an account is being used, thus you now need to start building your reputation by asking customers to leave reviews and ratings. As a result Google will expose you to more people looking for your services within your local area.
